Although our Straw Bale Wines (white and red) are “non-vintage,” this wine is a blend of one hundred
percent 2008 grapes: Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Dry Muscat. And as often with our
blended wines, the whole seems to be “more than the sum of its parts,” as the saying goes. The wine is
clean and crisp, zesty and refreshing, and with just a hint of minerality.
Our Straw Bale wines are among our most popular, and many of our customers bring them in to
drink as their everyday “house wine.” They offer an immediate and uncomplicated pleasure, they
match up nicely with all manner of cuisines, and they do this at a very affordable price! |
