We’ve saved the best for last. You know how we’ve raved about the 2007 vintage here at Claiborne & Churchill? It was without a doubt one of the best we’ve had, with every wine, across the board.

Well, I’m here to tell you that this wine, the 2007 Barrel Select Pinot Noir we call “Runestone,” is the best wine from that superb vintage. I know there are many fans of our “Twin Creeks” Pinot Noir, with its distinct spiciness and firm tannins, and of course our priceworthy “Classic” Pinot Noir, which we distribute all over the country, has a huge following.

I’m also aware (and I’ve said it many times) that there’s no such thing as a “best” wine. However, if there were such a thing as a best wine, this would be it! Put it this way: take the other Pinots we make, add a few layers of complexity, and multiply by six. That’s our 2007 Runestone!
