2018 Dry Rose of Pinot Noir

For us Spring officially begins with the release of “Cuvée Liz,” the highly anticipated and delightfully dry Rosé of Pinot Noir named for our daughter (and featuring a label with artwork she did at age eleven).

We have been making this wine since the late nineties, and we think 2018 is the most stunningly delicious to date. To achieve its beautiful color, we crushed an early picking of Pinot Noir grapes and let it soak for a few hours before pressing the juice off and sending it to barrel and tank for fermentation.

On the nose this wine shows aromas of watermelon, fresh fruit yogurt, and cucumber. There are flavors of fresh and succulent red fruits on the palate.

Because our Cuvée Elizabeth sells out every year before the end of summer, we recommend stocking up sooner rather than later.
