2017 Straw Bale Red

If your supply of C&C wine took a serious hit during the holidays, here’s some relief: our cult favorite (and priceworthy) quaffing wine, Straw Bale Red. The medium ruby color and the hint of fresh strawberries provide clues to the Pinot Noir foundation of this blend. This is a medium-bodied wine showcasing a mélange of earth, cinnamon, and briar, and with enough tannin to keep things fresh for the long finish. No need to lay this down, it’s ready to be enjoyed right now! Pair it with homemade lasagna, barbecued Tri-Tip or your weekday pizza night. This label was created shortly aft er the construction of our straw bale winery. It’s a tongue-in-cheek illustration of the three little pigs working on the building with no wolf in sight.
