2006 Syrah

     We made our last Syrah back in 2002 from grapes grown in the warm Central Valley of California. The 2006 vintage, comes from our cool Edna Valley, and shows more complexity and more aging potential. This is a perfect food pair to any hearty meats.

     Crushed and destemed into open topped fermentors, punch downs by hand 4 times daily.  Pressed off to neutral French  oak barrels after 10 days on the skins.  Aged in barrel 10 months, bottled without fining.
